Touching zero

Welcome to the ‘Touching Zero’ blog from Tim Hodgson at The Inspiration Centre.  My goal is to bring you thoughts, insights, vision and leadership in personal development and our quest for truth, love and power.

I guess the first question to answer is “why have you called this blog ‘Touching Zero’?”  I think that for any of us that want to grow and want to follow our truth, then we begin to recognise that actually life is designed to be simple.  We make it complex.  We surround life with so many strands of belief, so many pieces of our own beliefs that we lose sight of simplicity.  We develop programs, memories that isolate us from who we truly are.  And we lose sight of the Divine, of God, of the Universal power.  In order to truly be free, we need to return back to ‘Zero State’ – a state where we no longer run our programs, where we are closest to being God.  ‘Touching Zero’ expresses my longing to be back at zero – back where I am closest to the divine, closest to love, closest to being who I was designed to be.

I’ve been studying Hawai’ian Ho’oponopono, for a while now.  It’s a way of clearing out the programs and the self imposed limits that we wrap around ourselves.  It’s very simple – and yet incredibly profound and life transforming.

There’s an incredible book by Dr Joe Vitale and Dr Iheakala Hew Len called ‘Zero Limits’ that goes into Ho’oponopono in more detail..  or you can check out www.zerolimits.info.  I’ll be talking more about Ho’oponopono in future postings, along with even more thoughts on the ‘New Wave New Age’ of spirituality from such incredible leaders as Marianne Williamson, Neale Walsch, Eckhart Tolle, Gangaji, and more, along with Dr Hew Len and Dr Joe Vitale.  We’ll look at the law of attraction,  at cosmic ordering, at love, at energy, at what makes us unique and powerful.  Are you along for the ride?  I do hope so
